・The project of President Joko Widodo of becoming a seafaring nation is symbolized by the sail of the "Spirit of Majapahit" from Jakarta to Naha. The Spirit of Majapahit is a replica of the ship that was used during the times of the Majapahit Kingdom. On May 2, 2016 the departure ceremony of "the Spirit of Majapahit" was held, and along with the Japanese ambassador to Indonesia, members of the Jakarta Uchina-kai were invited as representatives of the Ryukyu Kingdom.
