・1 Secretary, 1 Treasurer and 1 Communications Officer per area.
・Established in 1996; First President: Yaeko Wilson; Strengthened friendship among Uchinanchus in the St. Louis Metropolitan and southern Illinois areas.
・Established to create friendship and mutual assistance among Uchinanchus and to promote and preserve our traditional Okinawan music, dance, cuisine, dialect, and art.
・Re-structured as a non-profit in 2014 and changed our name to St. Louis Eisa Okinawa Association officially; Had an Eisa instructor sent from the Okinawa Prefectural Foundation for Cultural Promotion; Currently, our purpose is to keep the Eisa culture alive by promoting our culture thru performances.Affiliated Org. ・Perform Eisa at schools and community events.
・Hold Origami and Uchinaguchi classes several times a year. Most of the participants are in their 30s.
