9. Okinawa International Cooperation Youth Reporters (OIC youth)
This program sends high school students from Okinawa to developing countries in the Asia-Pacific region to encourage the next generation to have global viewpoints for future international exchanges and activities in Okinawa. The International Corporation Youth Reporters Program conducts on-site inspections of international cooperation activities and exchanges with young people in the field. The International Cooperation Comprehension Promotion Program conducts lecture courses given by those who have experienced international cooperation activities. These programs have been implemented under the cooperation of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) since 2013.
