Membership 150 （As of 2017） Established 1985 Chairperson Yumiko Kinjo Hoyt (From 2017) Organization Overview ・The term of office for the president is 2 years, and is selected by recommendation/appointment.
・There is a vice-president, a secretary, a treasurer and 5 councils. There is a Food Committee.
・The first president was Ms. Kayoko Lewis and the objective of establishment was to bring Okinawan community together.

URL http://www.atlantaokk.org/ Description ・Uchinanchu Day has been added to the regular activities, and participants are mainly in their 40s.
・The Bonenkai & Christmas Party was held at a hotel on Dec 16, 2017, with an attendance of about 150. For entertainment, Eisa, guitar, Latin dance, chorus, dance by children, line dance by adults and a variety of numbers were performed.
・At Japan Fest Atlanta, an annually event held in September, the Kenjin Kai promotes Okinawan tourism at their booth and performances Sanshin, Okinawan dance and Eisa on stage.
・Compared with the past, its membership has increased as well as its activities.
・Its opportunities to introduce the Okinawan culture inside the association, in the different US Japanese as well as Asian events have increased.
