Michigan Okinawan Association Activity contents
Description・Main event are New Year's Party, summer picnic, and home party at a member's home. Most of the participants are people in their 60s.
・At New Year's party, members celebrate with Okinawan dances, Eisa, Karate and Okinawan food
・Picnic is held once a year in the Summer. At this annual get together members share and enjoy food and games.
・Okinawa traditional dance, Eisa, Karate classes are being held once a month, most of the participants are people in their 60s.
・In 2017, participated in the Grand Rapids Asian Festival, and plan to continue next year too.

A 15th anniversary event is scheduled for April 28, 2018, and Kenjinkai of Chicago, Ohio and Indiana are expected to attend.
