International Exchange in Tarama Village in FY2021 and FY2022

Project name: Tarama Village Overseas Scholarship Program for Junior high school students
Project Description and Purpose: The purpose of this program is to send Junior high school students of Tarama Village overseas to acquire language skills, and at the same time, to broaden their international perspective by exposing them to lifestyle, history, and culture, and to contribute to their sound upbringing, career education, and emotional education.
Place: U.S.A.
Number of participants: 3
Period: 24 days from mid-July to mid-August
Contents: Summer home-stay program
Results: Cancelled in FY2021 and FY2022 due to the new strain of coronavirus.
