Organization Overview・Term of office for the president is 10 years. The president is selected by recommendation/appointment.
・Objective of establishment:
To establish an official organization through which Okinawans in Minnesota can gather around their Okinawan identity.

Description・There is no change in the number of membership, but the number of activities has decreased.
・The summer picnic is the main annual event, with an average of around 75 people in attendance. They have Okinawan food,share stories,and sing and dance to the strum of the Sanshin.
・There is a Sanshin club that gather for practices once a week.
・Picnic and potluck party are held.
・People in their 70s participates in events and recreation, and mainly people in their 20s participate in cultural, educational, and languages activities,
