Membership 35 （As of 2016） Established 1985 Chairperson Miwa Tonaki (Term unknown) Organization Overview ・Objective of establishment is to provide an opportunity to the locals to learn about Okinawa.
・Activities are centered on the musical events held by the Okinawan music specialists' group "London Okinawa Sanshinkai".
・There are many Okinawan residents as well as students in the UK, however, they are not actively engaged with the Kenjinkai.

- Okinawa Kenjinkai of UK Activity contents
Description ・The Kenjinkai holds events such as New Year's Party, Sumer Picnic, Bonenkai and other activities every year.
・Since 2009, contributes to increase Okinawa's popularity by organizing Okinawa Day jointly with the London Okinawa Sanshinkai group. At the event, Ryukyu Dance, Esia, Karate along with Okinawa classical music and Sanshin performances are offered. Inside the venue, there are also a tourism information booth, a place for Buku-buku tea ceremony, and stands where Okinawan food and arts and crafts are sold. The number of visitors has reached 7,500 and a special 10th anniversary Okinawa Day event is schedule for June 23, 2018.

・ School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) University of London located on Thornhaugh Street, Russell Square in London. Practice place for London Okinawa Sanshinkai.
・Matayoshi Kobudo Association of Great Britain: The oldest Kobudo styled dojo opened its branch in UK in 2006. Now, there are 5 locations where tournaments, seminars and training are being held to promote and develop the Kobudo techniques. Every year the Matayoshi Kobudo UK Branch Annual Gasshuku is held.
