Membership 30 Established 2018 Organization Overview We want to be a central hub for Okinawan culture in SoCal of the young(ish), for the young(ish), by the young(ish) to create a safe space to explore ethnic identity and build community.
We hope to accomplish this by hosting OAA-sponsored events focused on learning and education (eg cultural workshops); storytelling andfamily history (eg individual, family, and organization stories); team building and social outings; and supporting our umbrella organization, the OAA. Anyone is welcome to join, though we will look specifically to give voice to those aged 18 to 40(ish).
