Accepting Applications for the FY2026 “World Uchina Network Enhancement Promotion” Okinawa Performing Arts Instructor Dispatch Program

Okinawa Prefecture has designated October 30 as “World Uchinanchu Day” and has been implementing various initiatives to sustain and develop the global Uchina Network.

As part of these initiatives, we have launched a program that dispatches Okinawan performing arts instructors to overseas Kenjinkai planning to hold events related to “World Uchinanchu Day (October 30).” This program aims to strengthen the Uchina Network through the diverse and rich appeal of Okinawan culture and performing arts.

Therefore, we are now accepting applications from overseas Kenjinkai interested in hosting instructors. For details on eligibility and application procedures, please refer to the attached application guidelines.

Please note that host organizations will be selected following a screening process. We look forward to receiving your applications.
